Why do I need a website?
There are probably hundreds of reasons to have a website, but there are a few standard generalizations that usually ring true across the board. First, a website can reach, literally, millions of people that would not otherwise be available. For business owners, it gives their customers the ability to view their products and/or services from the comfort of their own home. Secondly, more people than ever are turning to the web as their source of information and entertainment. It is one of the most cost-effective methods of advertising for any business, large or small. Your website advertises your business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week all around the world. top
How long will it take for my website to be developed?
There are a few factors which come into play when determining the length of time it takes to design and develop a website. First, the size of the site needs to be taken into consideration. The more content there is on the site the longer it will take to develop. Secondly, one of the most common sources of a site being delayed is lack of content being supplied by the client, or content not being delivered to us in a timely manner. Third, the length of time it takes to develop the site depends on the amount of programming, custom graphic design and multi-media required. We will always endeavour to meet our client's deadlines, but other factors do come into play. top
How do I get my site online?
First, clients need to register a Domain name for their site. There is a yearly fee for Domain name registration, generally from around $7.00 - $30.00. We would gladly assist any clients in this area if need be. Second, the site needs to be created. Third, clients need to register with a host provider to host their site on a web server. We would again, assist clients in choosing a suitable host provider if they require us to do so. Cost can range from virtually free to hundreds of dollars per month for a dedicated server. Most of our clients spend around $10.00 - $15.00 per month for web hosting. Costs decrease if the clients pays yearly. Lastly, the site needs to be marketed properly to be found on the most popular search engines. top
How do I update my site?
There are two methods of updating your website after is is completed and online. Depending on the client's needs, we can either recommend using a CMS (Content Management System), or we can do updates ourselves for a small monthly fee. InDaHood uses the Joomla framework as the basis for our client's CMS.The CMS costs the client more initially, but they are able to upload content to their site as they see fit, without altering the basic structure of the site. Our fee for website updates generally costs $25.00 per hour, for small content updates when the client opts for allowing InDaHood to do so. We offer our clients monthly update packages of 1-2 hours per month for updates at our standard hourly rate. Updates are very important to keep people interested in your website and wanting to return. top
How much will it cost to purchase my website?

Are your websites 'Search Engine Friendly?'
We design and develop our websites with search engines in mind. Content should always be written with the end user in mind first, but with proper insertion of specific keywords of your choosing we can optimize the search engine friendliness of you website. We will create search engine friendly title and meta tags respectively, helping your site get listed higher in the search engine rankings. top
Why isn't my site listed on the first page when a search is conducted?
In addition to designing a site to rank well in the search engines, it also needs to be properly marketed to produce higher search engine rankings. Internet marketing is one method of getting your site to rank higher as well. Another technique for higher search engine rankings is to get other sites to link to yours. Providing high quality content is one method of getting others to link to your site, but sending out requests to other websites with similar interests may also result in them linking to your site. Traditional marketing methods work well also, such as putting your domain name on all written correspondence and adding your domain name to all outgoing emails. top
